“Time waits for no man” is a phrase I ponder often. The dependably relentless passage of time and seasons. We look forward to summer and before we can fully settle into enjoying the sunshine, we feel the chill in the morning air. If I had a super power it would be to be able to linger longer in the moments of life. I can’t question the construct of time, but I have some feelings toward my clock and calendar as they just keep clicking off the days.
I hope this season finds you taking time to pause and consider your schedule. Are spending quality time with those you love? Do you have bandwidth for a hobby or time to volunteer with a cause you care about? Is your schedule in charge of you or are you in charge of it? Sometimes just pausing to ask a few streamlining questions can really help take off some pressure.
This life is meant to be lived and enjoyed. My hope for us as a Kinship Community is that we encourage each other towards a life well lived.
