Evangelical Christian minister James Dobson, founder of the right-wing group Focus on the Family, has a new reason Christians should not show compassion for LGBT people — according to him, the B in LGBT stands for “orgies.”

“I’ve been thinking about those pastors, those people in the clergy who are compassionate to those who have attractions to same-sex individuals,” Dobson said on his radio program Friday. “So their inclination is to be all inclusive and put their arm around them. I would like them to think, just for a moment, about ‘LGBT.’ The ‘B’ stands for bisexual. That’s orgies! Are you really going to support this?”

Earlier in the program, Dobson claimed that ministers who spoke the “truth” about homosexuality were at risk of being charged as “accomplices” to hate crimes. Read more...
