A New Command

We recognize...that we have fallen short of Jesus' vision for his followers--particularly with respect to our lesbian and gay sisters and brothers. We confess that as a church, we have failed to demonstrate Jesus' love in our interactions with the LGBTI members of our community. As a 501(c)(3) California nonprofit corporation, Seventh-day Adventist Kinship International cannot officially support (or condemn) any political issues or candidates. However, as a volunteer support organization that champions human rights for all people and believes that no one should be mistreated or discriminated against because of their sexual orientation, SDA Kinship fully supports its LGBTI members who desire legal same-sex marriage and equal human rights within our society.
