Raising of the Flag to commemorate the International Day Against Homophobia

IMG_3621-1As every year, the Municipal Council of Rosario honored LGBT organizations struggle with the raising of the flag of Argentina on the mast of the Monument and a fellowship breakfast in Stanley Hall.

On the occasion were present Noelia Casati, Coordinator of the Department of Sexual Diversity municipality Paulone Esteban, president of the Argentina Federation of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Trans, Omar Aliani, a member of Kinship, the Adventist faith group that promotes respect for LGBT persons within that religion, and Martin Scioli Peretti, director of AG Magazine Info

In 2007, the City joined the International Day Against Homophobia by declaring May 17 as a municipal day on the issue.

Since then, every year between May 17 and June 28, the local legislative promotes activities to commemorate the day as well as to hang the banner of sexual diversity in front of the building.
