Gay Pride Day in The Hague (Den Haag), Netherlands

On Saturday June 20th the annual Gay Pride Day will be held in The Hague (Den Haag), Netherlands.

Usually this event takes place on the last Saturday of June, but this year the organization felt urged to move the date because The Hagues hosts the yearly Veterans Day on the 27th.

The day will start with a so called Oecumenical “Pink Church Service” in the Kloosterkerk (Cloister Church) in the centre of the city, around which all activities will take place during the day and the evening. LGBTI choirs and performers will perform on various stages.

The Gay Pride Day, called “Roze Zaterdag” (Pink Saturday) closes the “Roze Week” (Pink week) with activities and meetings throughout the week preceding Gay Pride Day.
